Research reveals that most UK adults significantly underestimate the scale of the gender pay gap. While 25% of men and 19% of women believe no jobs have pay gaps favoring men, the Office for National Statistics shows 71% of job roles and 89% of industries actually do, with a median gap of 13.1%.
